Sending volunteers an email to help them reset their password

If a volunteer forgets their Web Terminal login information or is simply having a hard time logging in, use a preconfigured email template to send it to them. The template already has the needed tokens in place, making dealing with those "I forgot my password!" emails a breeze!

  1. From VSP's Announcements pane, click the "+" button at the top of the screen.
  2. Hover your cursor over "Templates >" in the drop-down menu, select "Preconfigured," then select the "Reset User Password" template.
  3. At the top of the email in the "To" line, click the "x" next to "All volunteers" and begin typing the name of the volunteer who needs this email. A drop-down list of names will appear; select the volunteer's name from the list.
  4. Click "Preview", then click "Send to..." when you are ready.

NOTE: The email templates are fully customizable. We recommend personalizing the message by updating the text!
