Print sign-in sheets for your shifts to help track attendance

Using VSP you can easily print sign-in sheets for your upcoming shifts. Tracking attendance enables you to better manage your volunteers by identifying any attendance issues, as well as highlighting your dedicated volunteers!

  1. Open your schedule inside of VSP.
  2. Go to the File menu and select "Export Schedule..."
  3. In the export dialog, under the Layout Settings pane, click on the drop-down menu at the top for the layout and change this to "Sign-in sheets with one page for each shift." Then go to the Select Shifts pane on the left, and check the box to "Only include shifts from.." and enter the dates for the upcoming week. By exporting just the upcoming week, you will always have the most up-to-date schedule information in case swaps have been made.
  4. Click the "Export Schedule" button in the lower right corner of the dialog, and save the sign-in sheets to your computer. You can then print these from your word processing program.

BONUS: Now that you have a record of who signed in for each shift, you can track this information inside VSP. Click here to view the VSP article on tracking attendance, or check out how you can even track attendance from your smartphone or tablet!
