Update the "From" address used for automatic emails
If you change schedulers or email addresses, it is important to update the "From" address for all emails sent through the Web Terminal (auto-reminders, sub emails, trades, assignments and enrollments). Doing so ensures that emails are sent from -- and that replies go to -- the correct person.
- Go to the Web Terminal pane inside of VSP
- Click on the "Web Terminal settings..." button at the top of the Home tab.
- In the settings dialog that opens, click on the '"From" Address' heading on the left. From here you can update the address for automatic emails sent through the Web Terminal.
Bonus: You can optionally use separate "From" addresses on a per-job basis, so that sub emails and assignment confirmation emails will come from the specific email address for the job related to the sub or assignment. Auto-reminder emails will always appear as being from the default address.
