How can I tell how a volunteer was placed on the schedule?

Ever wonder how a volunteer was assigned to a position on a schedule?  Using the flags next to a volunteer's name in the schedule, you can get a better idea of how they were placed.

Manual

Volunteer was placed on the schedule manually by an administrator, Web Admin, or Leader. 

Repeating

Volunteer has a repeating assignment - either a preassignment or is on a rotating team. 

Requested

Volunteer requested to be placed through the Web Terminal by clicking "volunteer now" and a Web Form was submitted and processed. 

Auto

The auto-scheduler placed the volunteer in the position according to their preferences and settings at the time the auto-scheduler was run. 

Extra

Volunteer was flagged as an "extra" by an administrator, Web Admin, or Leader.  

Swap Requested

Volunteer requested a sub, either through the Web Terminal where a Web Form was submitted and processed or through an admin or Leader submitting a sub request for them. 

Extra (swap made)

Volunteer filled a sub request. To view the original volunteer, hover over the the words "swap made" and the original volunteer will be displayed in hover text. 

Extra (no show)

Volunteer filled in for a volunteer who did not show up. To view the original volunteer, hover over the the words "no show" and the original volunteer will be displayed in hover text. 

No flag

If a volunteer is showing and there is no flag, this is due to using the copy/paste function or having cleared the flag.
