You can now control how many hours in advance text message reminders are sent. By leveraging text message reminders, volunteers get conveniently notified on their cell phone, which helps cut down on no-shows.

1. Go to the Web Terminal pane in VSP and click the "Web Terminal settings..." button at the top.
2. In the Settings dialog, click on the "Auto Reminders" heading on the left.
3. In the second half of this screen, where you see the option to "Send automatic text message reminders '2' hours before volunteers' scheduled times," click on the number 2 to change this as desired.

Note: Text messages are billed at $0.02 per text sent or received. Text messaging is available in the U.S. and Canada only.
